Zainteresowania

Dorobek naukowy zogniskowany jest na dwóch dziedzinach, na badaniach nad
świadomością językową (language awareness), oraz nad procesami uczenia języka na
poziomie zaawansowanym, w tym na badaniu potrzeb (needs analysis) oraz zarządzaniu
jakością (quality management). Dodatkowo, w pracy zawodowej jak i w badaniach
zajmuję się kształceniem nauczycieli języka angielskiego (najświeższe badanie dotyczyło
przekonań studentów odnośnie czynników wpływających na nauczanie czytania w języku
obcym i rodzimym).


Promotor

Sprawuje opiekę nad następującymi doktorantami:
1. mgr Marcin Jurkowski (rok 4), rozprawa dotyczy badania nauczania pisania na
potrzeby akademickie w Zintegrowanym Nauczaniu Przedmiotowo-Językowym
(CLIL);
2. mgr Ammar Al-Khawlani (rok 3), rozprawa dotyczy badania autonomii i strategii
językowych w nauczaniu języka angielskiego;
3. mgr Issa Al-Qaderi (rok 2), rozprawa dotyczy badania aspektów pragmatyki języka
angielskiego jak lingua franca (ELF);
4. mgr Karolina Czopek (rok 2), rozprawa dotyczy badania nauczania języka angielskiego słuchaczy Uniwersytetów Trzeciego Wieku.
