The lecture argues that soft power is no longer simply projected by institutions, but co-created — and contested — through networks, communities, stories and shared cultural moments.
It asks how cultural diplomacy can remain credible, human and effective when influence moves faster than institutions can control, and truth itself is increasingly under pressure.
