We are delighted to invite you to participate in the conference “Challenges of 21st-century English”, which will be held on May 27, 2022. Organised by the Second Thoughts magazine affiliated with the Institute of English Studies, University of Warsaw, the conference will provide a space for young scholars to present their research, exchange opinions and gain new insights into the study of English.

The event will be held online via Zoom upon prior registration on [below]. The conference will explore linguistics, culture and literature themes, and all papers pertaining to at least one of the above realms will be eligible for submission.

Everyone who wishes to be a speaker at the conference will have to submit an abstract, which will be assessed by the conference committee. Those granted the opportunity to present their research results will deliver an approximately 20-minute presentation on the day of the event. Selected papers will be accepted for a post-conference publication.
