Foreign candidates 2020

If foreign candidates wish to enrol at the Institute of English Studies, the Admissions Team would like to recommend certain solutions:

Although the university rules of the admissions in 2020 are not yet known, as most possibly they will be announced in March 2020, there are several predictions about their shape based on this year's experience. We believe it is likely that the Main University Admissions Committee will highly appreciate such final exams which resemble English A-levels. In other words, it is advisable to take the International Baccalaureate (High Levels). Students from Ukraine and Belarus may also opt for ZNO (zewnętrzna niezależna ocena). Foreign candidates are also advised to show a certificate of proficiency in English, e.g. FCE, CAE, IELTS, TOEFL, etc., apart from choosing English in the final exams.

As it was stated, the general admissions rules may change in 2020 but even if they do, the fulfilment of predicted requirements listed above will not work to a disadvantage of future candidates.
