What is the International Literature Showcase?
The International Literature Showcase is a partnership between the National Centre for Writing and British Council. It aims to showcase amazing writers based in the UK to programmers, publishers and teachers of literature in English around the world. To do so, we have invited leading writers to each curate a showcase of writing coming out of the UK.

The latest list is curated by the brilliant multi-award-winning poet Kei Miller, whose selection of 10 exciting emerging UK writers will be announced on 19 June. There are three online public ILS events in June 2021, marking the launch of Kei’s selection, and bringing international literature professionals together to debate issues facing the sector.
